Attention History Students!
Still thinking about what classes to take next
semester? Consider registering for HIS 404/LIS 253: Oral History this Spring
2016!
Learn about the practice and origins of oral history,
the difference between oral history and digital storytelling, oral history
ethics, and digital technology.
You can help capture and preserve our own oral history
for future generations here at the University by conducting interviews with
current and past students, as well as faculty, administrators, staff, and
friends of the University by participating in the St. John’s University oral
history project. Past interviewees have included legendary coach Lou Carnesecca
and the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Science Jeffrey Fagen, Ph.D. Consider
taking HIS 404/LIS 253 this Spring and contribute to the University’s own
archival collections!
This class will be offered in the Spring 2016 semester
as an elective for any graduate degree program.
